Beginner Tips

  1. Always check the settings menu first

Adjust difficulty, controls, subtitles, and accessibility options before you start. A quick settings review can prevent frustration later and make the game feel tailored to you. Many modern games also include colourblind modes and camera sensitivity sliders that dramatically improve comfort.

  2. Don't be afraid to lower the difficulty

Enjoyment matters more than challenge. If a section feels unfair or stops being fun, drop the difficulty without guilt. You can always raise it again later. Games are meant to be experienced, not endured.

  3. Use online communities, but verify information

Wikis, forums, and Discord servers are goldmines for tips, but not every post is accurate. Cross-check advice with at least two sources, and prefer guides that are recently updated. Our own guides link to primary sources where possible.
